The Sanctuary Wedding

Our historic sanctuary is the perfect venue for a traditional wedding ceremony and we tailor the service to your wishes. You are free to walk down the aisle to the classic ‘Wedding March’, ‘Here Comes the Bride’, or even contemporary selections such as ‘The Prayer’ by Celine Dion, or ‘Marry You’ by Bruno Mars. This beautiful venue will comfortably seat up to 250 guests while providing you with the cherished memories you deserve.

What Is Required

Besides the wedding license issued by the courthouse, we require that the couple meets with the officiating minister no later than two months prior to the wedding to plan their personal and meaningful ceremony. We do not require baptismal certificates, proof of church attendance, or premarital workshops. A temporary hold, for five days, may be placed on an available time slot. We then require a non-refundable/non-transferable deposit of $500 (which is applied to the total) to secure a date within the five days. This deposit must be paid to the church during the available hours of the wedding coordinator and a contract must be signed.

The Wedding Music

Musical accompaniment for your wedding will be provided by our accomplished church organist. In addition, our professional soloists are available to provide vocals designed to enhance your wedding service. Together they are available to perform up to five pieces of music during the ceremony: the bridal party processional, the bridal processional, two vocal solos, and the recessional. Musical selections ranging from classical pieces to contemporary classics are available as part of our suggested list of wedding music. There will be an additional fee of $100 for music that is not part of our suggested list. Sheet music, and/or the music track, for each additional piece must be provided 30 days prior to your wedding date. Participation of outside vocalists and other musicians in the ceremony is also permitted.

The Cost

The cost for all Sanctuary weddings, for all times, is $1,750. This is all inclusive, covering the cost of the honorariums and fees for the pastor, organist, and vocalist, the consultation, the rehearsal, candelabras, unity candle ceremony (couple supplies candle set), custodial fee, signed license and marriage certificate.
