Your Dream Wedding

A wedding ceremony is a sacred rite of the church, therefore a respectful demeanor is required. Our church’s minister will conduct all weddings, however, should you wish participation by other clergy members, it will be at the pastor’s discretion. Ceremonies are conducted primarily in English, though Spanish and Portuguese ceremonies are available upon request.

What Is Required

Besides the wedding license issued by the courthouse, we require that the couple meets with the officiating minister at least 30 days prior to the wedding to plan their personal and meaningful ceremony. We do not require baptismal certificates, proof of church attendance, or premarital workshops. A permit from the City of Miami Beach is required to perform a beach wedding, which is not included in the wedding packages. Our wedding team will assist with this process to ensure your special day comes together. Beach weddings can be performed during the week, anytime before sundown, based on the availability of the wedding officiant and wedding team. A temporary five-day hold may be placed on an available date for your wedding. We then require a non-refundable/non-transferable deposit of $500, along with a signed contract. The $500 deposit will be applied towards the cost of your wedding package and must be paid to the church during regular business hours. The total cost of the ceremony must be received at least 60 days prior to the wedding date.

The Wedding Music

Musical accompaniment for your wedding will be provided by our accomplished church organist, who is available to perform up to five pieces of music during the ceremony: the bridal party processional, the bridal processional, two vocal solos, and the recessional. Musical selections ranging from classical pieces to contemporary classics are available as part of our suggested list of wedding music. There will be an additional fee of $100 for music that is not part of our suggested list. Sheet music, and/or the music track, for each additional piece, must be provided 30 days prior to your wedding date. Participation of outside vocalists and other musicians in the ceremony is also permitted.
